"And isn't that why we buy CDs in the first place? To give us more variety than over-repetitive, ad-infested radio? "Seven Seconds" (1994) and "Sleeping Satellite" (1992) are gorgeous, but they barely saw the light of day at US radio. Other decent songs that didn't get a break in this country include Dubstar's celebration-of-life anthem "Stars," Garbage & Tricky's alternately warm and cold "Milk," and Leftfield & Toni Halliday's quirky, techno "Original." Kylie Minogue, who's been nearly AWOL from radio playlists since "The Locomotion," is represented with an Eastern-sounding track from 1994 called "Confide In Me," where she even engages in a little sexy rap. It works, believe it or not."Into the Blue" also has its share of duds, most notably the title track and Kate Bush's "The Sensual World," which sound like pretentious New Age junk. Beloved's "The Sun Rising" might have been a keeper had it been judicious with a pretty sample called "O Euchari." But no, the sample is played THIRTY-NINE TIMES during the song! Talk about annoying!If I had my way, I would have cut about half the tracks from this compilation, but in the final analysis, this set puts together enough beautiful and hard-to-find songs to make it worth recommending."

"I lived in England for five months and this reminds me of my time there so much. This is probably my favorite CD because of the uniqueness and variety of songs that you simply can't get on the radio. It has a little bit of everything, techno, new age, alternative, etc. I highly recommend this. No collection is complete without this CD! I can't wait to hear the other one, Ambient Moods. I know that it will be just as good as this one. It is well worth the price you have to pay for an import."
