"My God! I have several Issaac Delgado CDs. I bought this one in Havana, and I came back to the US with a Cuban respiratory infction, and had some time on my hands. From the first time I heard it, I realized that this one was a gem. Issac Delgado (originally of NG la Banda fame)is a true master at his art form. This CD has a real jazz feel, yet has a highly danceable rythm, which partially explains alot of what is distinctuvely Cuban in music. The level of musicianship runs rings around our US pop music....and remember...this stuff is essentially pop music in Cuba. I have several Issac Delgado CDs. It's a close call, but this one may be his best."
