Passion on Platinum / Pasion en el Platino

"Isabel Pantoja is one of the premier artists of the now revitalized "Copla" style of music from Andalucia, Spain. It is a Spanish "blues" and she is the Spanish equivalent of a Koko Taylor. Isabel puts on a performance equal to none, her fire and passion will leave you energized.

Her own name is pure spanish folk,it runs in her blood stream. In this recording she demonstrates once again that she's the one and only"Queen of Spanish Folk"(La Copla)."
Beautiful but not exceptional!

"I love Pantoja and always will. The orquestra was, for the most part, drowning Pantoja's voice. It seems that Pantoja was either lacking the "Copla" strength she once possessed or she wasn't at her very best when she recorded "A Tu Vera." For those who are familiar with her early recordings, in particular, "La Cancion Espanola, 1990," can FAIRLY compare her voice and sound. Although I do like this album, I am not very impressed with the results. I know she could had done better."
