Lucky Me! :) Starcadia | Alexandria, VA USA | 10/07/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "I fell in love with Isan way back with Beautronics, which to me was like somewhat minimilist modern/contemporary sculpture, combined with otherworldly landscapes, made into music. Since then I've been keeping up with them and their unique sound.
Not quite as good as their most recent album, Meet Next Life, in my opinion, but Lucky Cat is still an extremely good album of music. Track 7, Kittenplan A, for instance, breaks my heart with it's lush, bittersweet, futuristic melodies. No one writes music like Isan, and I'm glad someone does. This is another winner of an album and is highly recommended to moderate and dedicated fans alike. Thanks Isan! :) Note: This album was released in 2001, not 2005 like Amazon would lead some to believe." |
