Awesome production, great artists, TOO SHORT

"This record gets 4 stars for being short (only 8 tracks, total running time of 37 minutes). That's a stab at the producer(s)...you don't make a 37 minute CD and sell it for $15.00 or more...that's just being cheap with the customers.



Aside from that little pet peeve, the production is top-notch Sergio George material...old (guest singers) meets new (DLG, Timba-ish type of funky salsa). You will definitely dance and wiggle your feet to this one. Strangely enough..it's Ismael's CD...yet the album comes across more as a "all-stars" joint...it's just like he was one of the invited guest...not the star of the show.



Would have been a memorable CD in my book...if only the shortness of it didn't piss me off so much..."

A waste of talent

"I sure lost my money on this CD. The idea to make this album was good but..... it just did not happen. All the excellent artists invited to make it were not sufficient. It was just a waste of talent. The songs were poor, specially the one with Milly Quezada "Somos Tal Para Cual", no wonder nobody want to listen to "salsa" lately. The only one tune that is really good is "Mas". Being an Ismael Miranda follower since the 70's it's just dissapointing to have bought this album. Only 8 tunes and a little over 30 minutes. I guess they were just thinking about making a quick buck, and probably they will succeed.
