"This is one of the singer that has kept singing son instead of the always conventional and monotonous salsa. This a very good CD that is very closed to the traditional cuban music with good interpratations. Finally it is a CD for people who knows about the good latin music."
His classic solo debut album remains a TRUE CLASSIC!!!

"After a very successful stint with Orchestra Harlow, Ismael Miranda recorded this magnificent solo debut which remains a 1970s "Salsa Essential" to this day. "Maria Luisa", "Recordando", "La Cosa No Es Como Antes" and the poignant "Madre" were all major hits that remain staples of his live repertoire. This 1975 release was produced by Johnny Pacheco and the late pianist/arranger Jorge Millet. Adalberto Santiago, Ruben Blades and Hector Lavoe are all heard as coro (background) singers."
