"Ivan Lins has been related to Tom Jobim for years now, since both of them are considered almost unanimously the best two Brazilian Songwriters ever; and here Ivan does a fantastic tribute to Tom; so fantastic that I can consider this Ivan's best album (IMPO).

The selections, the instrumentations, interpretations, renditions are by design; in other words; Bossa Nova / Brazilian Jazz performed by Ivan Lins; what else can we ask for?

Every song in this album is awesome, so, picking highlights is very difficult, but songs like "Vivo Sonhando/Triste", "Inutil Paisagem", "Soberana Rosa", "Samba do Aviao" (which he performed in the Latin Grammys of 2002 along with BossaCucaNova), "Este Seu Olhar/Promessas", "Jobiniando" and "She Walks This Earth" on a Techno style, are superb.
