"Izzy is without a doubt one of the best modern sopranos in the music biz today. Her clear, beautiful voice captures each note of every song with equal resonance and clarity. Hailing from England her lyrical stylings give new life to the material she covers.
1. Lascia Ch'io Pianga (10/10) ... A gorgeous song coupled with Izzy's powerful voice.
2. Una Furtiva Lagrima (9/10) ... Not as good as track 1 but still a very good song. Lovely vibratto on this track.
3. Pavane (9/10) ... Very soothing beautiful song.
4. Sull' Aria (9/10) ... Another excellent adaptation of classic material.
5. Un Bel Di Verdremo (10/10) ... Izzy's take on Madama Butterfly. As a Puccini lover I am biased when I say that this is my favorite track on the album. Very well done.
6. Steal Away (9/10) ... A religious song. Izzy does a lovely job on it.
7. Qui C'est Celly ... (9/10) ... A traditional French song. It's hard to believe that Izzy is British on this track since her vocal stylings on this song are exceptional.
8. Les Temps Cerises (9/10) ... Pretty, but this song grates on me after awhile.
9. My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose (10/10) ... This song is why I bought the album. I heard it in Borders and fell in love with it.
10. Au Fond Du Temple Saint (10/10) ... Simply gorgeous.
11. Lumi Miei Cari (10/10) ... My second favorite track on the album. The way her voice is layered in it is simple maginifent.
12. What Child Is This (9/10) ... A technically difficult piece to sing that Izzy does a wonderful job on it.
13. The Prayer (9/10) ... Admittedly it's a better version than the one that Charlotte Church did. However, after a few listenings it tends to get tedious.
All in all a maginificent collection. Let's hope Izzy catches a larger following and releases her previous albums in the US."

"I am a recent fan of crossover music and a new fan to Izzy. I absolutely love this cd; it has become one of my favorites of many. Izzy has a beautiful voice that one can compare to Sarah Brightman. I have ordered Izzy's 2 remaining cds and can't wait until they arrive. I hope you enjoy Izzy as much as I do. barb"

"If you are looking for a crossover opera artist that sounds similar to Sarah Brightman, you may have found one. But, if you are looking for an album with all of the classics and wonderful songs on many of Sarah Brightman's, then you may be disappointed. Izzy's voice is quite beautiful, and with her Italian tongue rippling in every word after every sentence makes it a genuine night at an opera. The very first two songs are the best in my view, classics Una Furtiva Lagrima of course the Lascia Ch'io Pianga. Her rendition is flawless, and after listening to Sarah's version and Izzy's back to back, I found it impossible to decide which was better. All I can say is that Izzy's gives you a genuine opera music feel, however while still withstanding is her beautiful, lovely crossover voice. What I didn't like about this album is that most of the songs were unknown, and didn't shine enough to give Izzy the glory she certainly deserves. Better still, you can find yourself listening to the entire album in order, and almost feel yourself in a red velvet Grand Opera House Chair, enjoying the performance. This album is well worth buying if you are a fan of crossover or genuine opera."
Best female vocalist?

"I must admit, when it comes to Izzy, I am extremely biased, she is my favourite female singer, and as far as I am concerned, the greatest female vocalist, I already had most of these tracks on a British release, but I wanted the duet with Daniel Rodriguez, also the video of My Love is Like a Red Red Rose, in my estimation, this is the ultimate version of this beautiful song, if you've heard any of these tracks, but not by Izzy, you really should try to get to hear Izzy's versions. There's just a special magic, that she brings, you recognise the song immediately, yet at once it also seems fresh and new with Izzy's version.
Even the greatest opera duet ever, Au Fond Du Temple Saint, written to be performed by male voices, takes on a whole new life performed by Izzy."
