Album DescriptionOkay, so everybody and their grandmother came out with a Beatle knockoff album once the Fab Four hit these shores, but not everybody was Jack Nitzsche, and therefore this album's full of little production touches (not to mention expert musicianship) that lift it way above the pack. And the album's not even all Beatles tunes; Jack does `Chains; My Bonnie', and `Twist and Shout', which the Beatles covered, and, more intriguingly, contributes a couple of original compositions, `Ringo' (sporting a Lennon-style harmonica lick) and `Beatle-Mania', which copped riffs from several Beatles tunes. `I Want to Hold Your Hand'; `She Loves You'; `I Saw Her Standing There'; `Please, Please Me'; `From Me to You'; `All My Loving', and `It Won't Be Long' round out the record, all instrumentals given that Nitzsche-an touch. From 1964, first time on CD!
