Picked this up after reading a good review at AMG. This is rated 4.5 Album Pick at AMG and a compilation of Jack's recordings. This even has jack with the Louis Armstrong All Stars. For the Audiophile out these this is a ADD issue, Digitally Remastered. Very enjoyable music and I'm checking out some of his other CDs - DN

"This Bluebird compilation appears to be the digital version of an earlier vinyl release. There's one important difference, namely that five more tracks have been included. The tracks span the period 1928 to 1957, and some of the earlier selections inevitably duplicate other releases (Eddie's Hot Shots, and the Mound City Blue Blowers sides being the most obvious). Sound quality is not as good as that of the Living Era reissue, sounding more muffled and constricted."
