"I have long been a fan of her fabulous mother, Cleo Laine so I was naturally curious about her daughter's performance! I need not have worried--Ms. Dankworth can hold her own; both in vocal ability, style and content. A delightful album that I have played over and over."

"I love Cleo Laine's style as a jazz singer. So I was delighted to see this CD in the Philippines. Expecting that she would have a style similar to her mother, I tried this out. Well, it is a big surprise to find out that Jacqui Dankworth's style is very different from Cleo Laine. She has a style uniquely her own. I really like the intimate feel of the CD, even for the fast songs. It is like she is whispering clearly the words.



My favorite tracks are September in the Rain, Lucky Charm, Knocks Me Off My Feet, and My Ship.



This is definitely much better and refreshing than Norah Jones' CD. Though Jacqui Dankworth would never reach the popularity Norah Jones achieved, she definitely will have a solid fan base.



Just a request for Amazon.com and the record studio releasing her albums, PLS release her other cds in the Philippines. It was sheer luck i found one of her CDs in the record bar."
