"Jah Wobble does it again. On the latest offering from his own 30 Hertz label, Wobble and his band of merry men, the Invaders of the Heart, set down a monster bottom end in support of a quartet of Parisian based Laotian singers. This isn't a groove; it's a trench of bass, drums, pipes, and khene, a mouth organ. A perfect dub based platform for these singers to take off in a joyous call and response style known in Laos as Molam. Even if you don't speak Laotian, the obvious delight the musicians had in creating this record is infectious; you can't help but find yourself moving to the music and singing along. A definite candidate for a world music grammy."

"I've been a fan of Jah Wobble's music since the very first Public Image Ltd. album. The man is just a master of the low-down bass groove. Wobble has been one of the few musicians who's been able to make truly cathartic "World Music" that successfully blends musical traditions from various parts of the globe. From the start he developed an enthralling fusion of Jamaican dub-style bass with Arabic/Middle-Eastern rythms and melodies. Then he added strands of Spanish gypsy music and vocal stylings from India and Pakistan. Almost always, Wobble avoided falling into the cloying territory of Deep Forest, Enigma, Enya, and the like.With this album, Wobble expands his palette to include the musical traditions of Laos, and once again, he does it right. If you, like me, love listening to music from other cultures but often yearn to hear those styles pumped up with a bit of Western electric punch, then Wobble is your man. So many try to do it, so few succeed.This is one of those albums that my brain gets stuck on. I just keep finding myself hitting the repeat button when it comes to an end."
