Album Description
Frumdahart productions is pleased to announce the release of "little dreams", the new album from Santa Fe singer songwriter Jaime Michaels. The album features 12 outstanding new tunes with great backing perfomances by percussionist Mark Clark (ottmar leibert, manzanares y sol), roots rocker guitarist Jono Manson, dobro player John Egenes (Eliza Gilkyson, Bill & Bonnie Hearne), and special guest vocalist, chesky recording artist Sara K among others. The songs range from the travis pickin' djembe driven "somewhere like italy" (nominated for a 1999 New Mexico mic award as best folk song) to the haunting ballad "Almost Daedalus" featuring cellist Michael Kott and pianist Chris Ishee. Also appearing are Santa Fe's busiest bass player dave toland, electric pianist satish, and harmonica player Thomas "blues" Uhde. Produced by Simon Widdowson.
