"I have an interest in Trumpeters, and have Harry James, Louis Armstrong and Dizzy Gillespie all in my collection. This is an amazing album, It is a fusion of music and painting. Ken Done has done paintings and Morrison has made music to them. There are nine tracks, all originals, having the titles of the paintings. I'll tell you why I didn't give it 5ive stars, I think a couple of the tracks, Pinnacles and From this day, are a bit off the track. I can understand pinnacles but the other one has really got me. The other 7even are superb!. He seems to be a versatile trumpeter. In one piece he sounds like Miles Davis, In a very beautiful self-written song called Saturday Sailing, he sounds like a traditional trumpeter. Sometimes he soudns liek Loius sometimes he sounds like Dizzy and sometimes he soudns like himself. Wet Monday and Freshwater girls are beautiful songs written by Garry Dial. Sydney by nigth is a rowdy 80's jazz piece. The last piece, Outback, isn't a trumpet piece, it's an overwhelming piece of organ? work. Good work."
