"My favourite song on this album is "Frozen Man." If you like JT, then you should definitely have this in your collection. Every album is like a slice of the man's life -- reflecting where he was at the time, and the issues he faced that we all eventually face."

"From "Copperline," which is a catchy tune which lyrics recall an earlier time in the singer's life "down on Copperline," to the politically critical message of "Slap Leather," to the sad and beautiful "Down In the Hole," to the tender and morally reflective "The Frozen Man," to the advice of "Brother Oh Brother," to the gentle, yearning for true love in "The River is Wide," to every other song therein, "New Moonshine" is a top album that will not disappoint old and new fans of Mr. Taylor. Highly recommended."

"I feel this was one of his best album releases. There is not a sour note in the bunch of these songs."
