Great first selection

"I own three collections of Miami Vice music, and this was the first. I note that none of these albums includes all the songs, or even all the key songs. Missing from any that I own, for instance, are Ted Nugent's incomparable "Little Miss Dangerous", and Sheena Easton's performances. Still, this album includes several of the best Miami Vice themes ever: Glen Frey's hard to find "Smuggler's Blues" and "You belong to the City", as well as Chaka Khan's "Own the Night" and Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight". None of these collections is perfect, but this one is a good starter, and I still listen to them all. Finally, one can still catch all of these songs and the shows they accompanied on the Sleuth channel.

"I actually owned this album at release on tape. Nice collection of songs and to this day still enjoy the Jan Hammer instrumentals."
