Hanover melodic rockers, Jane were discovered by Günther Körber, the founding father of Brain. At times they were almost as successful as the Scorpions, their Hanover colleagues. On their fourth LP, Lady originally released in 1975 - the musicians who had joined up around Klaus Hess and Peter Panka brought their mystical and melodious heavy rock to perfection. It is considered to be the best and most characteristic album recorded by Jane. The band has been out and about ever since, though in a slightly different line-up. In late 2004 they performed with Epitaph and Guru Guru in the Rockpalast, presented by the German broadcaster WDR.
