Going inside Janet's Velvet Rope is slammin'

"this is one of the best Janet albums ever!!!!!!!!!! This is one smashing album! I've got the u.k edition with 'Can't Be Stopped' as the bonus track. But I heard 'God's Stepchild on MTV a biography of her or something so I looked and looked for this special album and I bout it as soon as I saw it. I didn't car how much it was I payed it and it is worth it. God's Stepchild' is probably one of the best songs of her career bside'Rhtheym Nation. If ' I love this one and is deffently worth bying!!!"

"As a major Janet fan, "The Velvet Rope" to me was the last great album that Janet has released to date. A majority of the succeeding releases catered to the bottom of the barrel of the commercial dreck. But not on here. On this CD, Janet showcased a much more of a growing maturity and greater personal mood on this CD. Although many portray it as sad and down, I strongly disagree. While nothing like RN or Control, it is better than it's two following albums AFY and DJ and better than even the Janet album. Together again is a classic. Highly recommended."
