"I found this soundtrack at a decent price, and am so glad I went ahead and bought it. This OST is generally more slow paced than many others (ie. Escaflowne Movie, which is also excellent by the way), and it manages to convey the melodramatic emotions of the movie quite well. One gets a sense of both being at an instrumental semi-tragic opera or staring up into the clear night sky wondering about the fate of your significant other. Of course, there are also some good 'battle' tracks which obviously correspond to the physical confrontations in the film. Overall, the soundtrack it a good blend, except perhaps for the random pop tracks, which I personally feel detract from the work as a whole. Otherwise, it's dramatic, gorgeous, and absolutely fabulous!"
