CD ReviewsCouldn't let myself to go - baby you don't know how much I g Hackshadows | Melbourne, Australia | 07/17/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Oh man, I love this soundtrack and I absolutely adore the anime that it came from even more. The show is probably my favorite anime at the moment. Such a simple and cool idea - a show about a group of friends and all the stupid BS they have to go through trying to get a band together. And it was executed so tastefully and sensitively, as this soundtrack is a testament to. All the classics from the show are here (with the conspicuous exception of "Hit in the USA", one of the catchiest tunes from the show). But a bunch of others "Spice of Life", "Follow Me", "Moon on the Water", "I've Got a Feeling" and of course the show-stealing "Slip Out". Who could forget the scene of Koyuki getting up at Greatful Sound by himself with Jewel's acoustic guitar, to be joined later by Saku, Taira, Ryuusuke with an awesome guitar solo and finally Chiba, all while the crowd watched in the pouring rain. This soundtrack is full of great songs on their own, but if you've watched and loved the show as much as I have, this will bring back some great memories of some amazing musical moments. Just brilliant." Great memory of a great anime Yuhara | 07/21/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "I personaly really enjoyed this soundtrack. In the anime BECK, emotion is normaly represented by one of the songs on this track. And threw listening to the soundtrack brings back all the warm or isperational aspects represented in this series. I would recomend this to anyone who is a fan of the manga or anime." Great CD Peter DiFrancesca | New Haven, CT | 02/11/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "I fell in love with the anime for which this soundtrack comes from, so once the tears stopped rolling, I used all of my wily devices to own this album. iTunes failed me, but Amazon was there! The price was a bit high, but price was no object- I needed this album. I could listen to bootleg copies on youtube until the glorious day when the disc arrived. My fingers have never hurt so much- the music inspired me to pick up my guitar again to try to play along with some of these songs- listening and singing along just wasn't enough- I needed more involvement in the music. Some day you may find me karaoke-ing some of this just for the rush! Anyway, you can't appreciate this album fully until you've seen the show where it came from, which, too, is highly recommended."
