One of the best Anime OST

"If you are a Mimmay's fan like myself, you won't be disappointed by the collection. The first CD contains all the sony from the Macross Saga, Macross DYRL movie, Macross II and Macross Plus. CD 2 contains songs from the Macross 7 series and the spin-off movies and OVA plus sound tracks from the Macross games.
I did not see DYRL and any of the Macros 7 series, but CD 1 is the best of the 2.
CD1:
Track 1-12 are all the songs appeared in the Macross Saga series. Track 1 and 2 are the opening and ending themes (sang by Makoto Fujiwara in real person). Track 3 to 12 are all the songs sang by Minmay (Mari Iijima).
Track 13 and 14 are the additional songs appeared in DYRL. Man, they are great songs, especially "An Angel's Paints" which is a fast pace song.
Track 15 to 18 are from Macross II OVA. They are the opening theme "The Hush of 200 Million Years", the 2 ending themes "Please Come Back To Me" and "Promise". But the best of the best is the insert song "Mouichido Love You", which in the OVA, turned the battle around (if you have seen it). Wow that is a magical song.
The remaining 2 songs are from Macross Plus, including "Voices" and "After, in the dark ~ Torch Song". Both songs are great and you will find part of the "Torch Song" is sung in other language (definitely not Japanese), perhaps some sort of Afraican favour.
CD2:
I only listen to CD 2 once. Mostly are electronic/rock type of songs.

"This Double CD Set contains (35 tracks) music from SDF Macross, DYRL, Macross II, Macross Plus, Macross 7.
It also includes music from the Macross games: M3, VF-X2 and VF-X.
.. and saving the best for last, there is a bonus track "Friends".
I highly recommend this cd set to all Macross fans."
