First, they're unique in that they're a committed gay couple making music of a spiritual nature, where many just focus on the religious aspect (not to mention narrow-mindedness), and neglect the spiritual. While none of these songs are amazing, there's just something to them that I absolutely adore. I'm especially taken with the track, "All I Long For" -- while this could be considered a plea to a higher power, it also comes across as a love declaration between Jason and deMarco. Additionally, there's an overwhelming sense of the positive in this release, which is sorely needed in the pop world." Let me first say that I was turned off toward religion many years ago because of the church. That said, I'm not a particularly religious person, and their music does lean towards what one reviewer called Sunday Morning Music (or something like that), which is kind of accurate, but kind of not. These guys have totally retooled songs that most of us may be familiar with and add to that their voices, the popular spin, instrumentation, and you've got a CD filled with HITS. I think it is awesome, especially these days, that two young men would put their careers on the line and record music with a spiritual message. I say ROCK ON Jason & DeMarco ... you have one more committed long term fan. If you are considering buying this CD --BUY IT -- You'll love it.
