He's got a bunch of other records too, which are all great if you can find 'em (esp. the Captain Stringbean album) - but this one's brilliant thru and thru. I know he gets compared to John Prine and/or Dylan a lot but Jason's really his own thing. Up there with Michael Hurley as a songwriter. One of my favorites."
