"Jay Chattaway's "Space Age" is an amazing album of music. I have been a fan from his star trek scores and he has hit another home run with this album. I first heard this music while watching the PBS 6hr documentary "Space Age" and loved it. This music really inspires a sense of wonderment and amazement for the cosmos. The music is elegant and poignant and filled with feeling. A truly moving masterpiece!"
Shouldn't this be back in print???

"There was a time when watching the Sci-Fi Channel with shows like "Mysteries From Beyond The Other Dominion," "Sci-Fi Buzz" and "Inside Space." One particular episode of "Inside Space" was about music - featuring Jay Chattaway, who composed music for "Star Trek: TNG." As I recall, he talked about the music in "Space Age," how the music does not change abruptly for the scenes since it was a documentary. I also recall hearing that little bit of music playing in the background. It was more synthesizer than orchestral.Meanwhile, as I was looking through some CDs in a store, I discovered "Space Age." Since I'm a fan of synthesizer music, and the CD was on sale, I decided to buy it. Pretty good music. I've listened to it several times, at least (not many times since I have many other favorites in my CD collection), and always liked it. If you like synthesizer music (or space music), I think this one is something to add to your CD collection. Maybe I might see the documentary someday."
