"I saw Jeff at a gig here in Eugene a while back. The show was a little rough--he broke a bunch of strings on his guitar that delayed things a bit--but overall it was a great show. I was convinced enough to buy a $10 cd afterward, took it home, and it's great. Been on the lookout for the band to return ever since. Great lyrics, good varied music, from dense power-trio rock to swing to folk. These are just cool songs--my favorites are "Wearing Thin", with the sweet violin lines, and "Little Bird", which has great words and "how'd he do that?" tasty guitar licks. I guess you could compare him a bit to Dylan, maybe more along the lines of Jeff Buckley. Anyway, it's a good find."
