"His best album, period. All songs are master pieces. Also it's a showcase for the horn section and Louis Johnson on bass. Just listen to "ready for your love" and "Ain't nothin' missin', Fantastic!!"
A Grand New Era!

"Jeffrey Osborne begins his solo career wonderfully by
recruiting the production assistance of George Duke for a flowing
funk/pop collection on a par with his best work with LTD.But like
his old band Osborne tends to overindulge in smarmy pop/R&B
ballads that drag the mood of about half this album down a tad.
But in slick grooves like "New Love" and "I Really Don't Need
No Light",saddled to horn-heavy uptempo funk like "Ready For Your
Love","Who You Talkin' To?" and "Ain't Nothin' Missin" we are
reminded that even though he now considers himself a contemporary
adult soul balladeer Jeffrey Osborne is (and has continued to be)
a funkiteer at his heart.Amazing!"

"His first project after LTD and he hit a grand slam. I wish LTD would have a reunion, but I won't hold my breath. This is an excellent CD and a must buy. My favorite songs: New Love, Baby"
