"I have Fibromyalgia and getting enough sleep is a huge problem, let alone getting quality sleep. I put one of the CD's on loop and set the sleep timer for two hours. I usually take two hours to fall asleep. Since buying these CD's, I am asleep before hearing the entire piece. I don't even know what the end of the CD sounds like. It sounds like a cross between soft music and one of those white noise machines. Sometimes those sleep machines can be rather harsh sounding. This is gentle enough that even my husband, who does not have any trouble sleeping, does not even notice that I have a CD playing. Usually if someone tells you that a piece of music put them to sleep it's a bad thing. For those of us who suffer from sleep disorders, it is a blessing to have an effective tool that does not have any side effects."
The perfect auditory backdrop for relaxation or meditation!

"My purchase of this CD set was pooh-poohed as a yuppie/hippie lark until everyone who heard snippets of it began falling asleep. I cannot recommend it heartily enough as all my family and acquaintances are demanding copies of it. This is wonderful sound for falling asleep at night as it has no discernible melody to keep your mind searching for rhythms. It is also great for just plain relaxing anytime (although I always fall asleep)!"

"Recently I had back surgery and during recovery I have tried to avoid using drugs to induce sleep. I have used similar binaural technology produced by the Monroe Institute with success but I wanted variety. Dr. Thompson states that he avoided melodic sequences in these cds to eliminate the boredom factor and he has been successful. Wind in the trees or a babbling brook sound the same but these ambient vibrations avoid the curse of monotony that a familiar tune can gather. These recordings mix natural and artificial sounds artfully with sleep inducing delta frequencies to achieve their purpose. I am happy to report that the pleasant sounds do work to induce reverie and sleep even when experiencing physical discomfort."
It works.

"Something that actually works, don't want to get into much detail, didn't realize I haven't written a review for this yet. It works, when I needed it most, suffering from insomnia really sucks, and having to take sleeping meds , I didn't enjoy.. I was actually GETTING TIRED OF TAKING THEM (no pun)so I looked for a more less free-med option and I found this. WONDERFUL, incredible, and it works!!!
