CD Reviews
Album of the Year!

"Ok - if you ONLY listen to Christian music, you may not find this a very helpful review. I spent most of the years of my life AVOIDING Christian music because the majority is over-produced, bubblegum music with a good message and horrible music.
Third Day, Jars of Clay, Mercy Me, and Jeremy Camp have all succeeded in proving to me that some Christian music can have both a positive message and be good music. However, this album, from song 1 to 13, rocks! It is not all power-music, in fact most of it is very melodic, but the music is very well done, and the messages are some of the best I've heard. Based on this, I would rank this as the single best Christian album I have heard. Every song is a winner in its own right, but it isn't all the same. This artist has a great career ahead of him!"
Strong worship album from up and coming artist

"I must admit that the first time I heard this album I was not overly impressed. But, now that I have had a chance to listen to it for awhile I really enjoy it. It is full of excellent worship songs with very strong lyrical content. Jeremy Camp clearly demonstrates why he is considered one of the rising stars in Modern Christian Music.
The best songs on the album are "Trust in You", "Beautiful One", "Walk by Faith", and "Revive Me". I particularly like "Revive Me". The story behind the song is inspirational, and the lyrics reveal the artist's heart, and his love for God.
Unlike some others reviewers I don't care much for some of the other cover songs that is performs, such as "Enough" and "Worthy of All Praise". The original versions, and those found on the Passion CDs are much better.
I recommend this album to any Jeremy Camp fans - if you don't already own it. For others who are looking for a great modern worship album, this is a great choice."
Worship at its Finest

"Artists releasing worship CD's seems to be the trend of the last few years. While I am often leery of people jumping on bandwagons to make a quick buck, these projects have a true heart of worship. This CD is no exception.
It starts out with a song I've used in leading worship for a long time myself. I had never heard "Trust in You" recorded before, however. I love this version of it, and that song alone was enough to convince me to buy it.
The CD doesn't go downhill from there at all, by any means. It moves into some fresh worship choruses like "Beautiful One," "Enough," and "Wonderful Maker." Jeremy Camp had his hand in writing 5 songs on this CD, including "Walk by Faith" from his first CD and the title song. I'm still not a fan of "Carried Me" stylistically, but the lyrics, recognizing God's hands in trials, are amazing.
Over all, this CD keeps the beat up and the pace going, showing you can rock and worship at the same time.
With a good mix of original and familiar worship choruses, this CD fits well into the modern worship genre. I took a chance when I got it, and I'm very glad I did."
A Solid Sophomore Effort!

"Jeremy Camp's second album, "Carried Me: The Worship Project," shows another side to Mr. Camp's image. In "Stay," his debut album, Mr. Camp impressed his listeners as a fresh, new face on the Contemporary Christian Music scene. Songs like "Stay," "Walk By Faith," and "In Your Presence" were some of the powerful offerings on that album. In this release, Mr. Camp pays homage to some of the modern Praise & Worship hits such as "Beautiful One," "Wonderful Maker," and "Enough." He also combines with these some original hits of his own. His version of "You Are Worthy of my Praise" is cool and edgy!
Jeremy Camp is going to be a major player on the CCM/P&W scene for some time to come, Lord willing. Of course, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that we should all thank God for talents such as Jeremy Camp. God is really using people like him to reach people with the saving message of Jesus Christ. Personally, Mr. Camp's music really gets me into the worship of our gracious and merciful God!"
Great Worship Album

"I waited 2 months for the release of this album, and it was well worth the wait. Although it does not come near to the caliber of his debut album, Jeremy Camp shows off his heart and dedication to the Lord through every song. Even his new wife, Adrienne, backs him up in 2 of the songs and together they sound wonderful. The album contains some wonderful new versions of classic worship songs we know and love, such as 'Enough' and 'You're Worthy of My Praise', and new worship songs that are just as good. Although this album is excellent, I feel it could have been better. The title track, Carried Me, is especially disappointing. I find it a track that is 4 minutes of boredom. It is a great song lyric wise, but the tune gets old after the first stanza. Nonetheless, Jeremy Camp has definately not disappointed his fans with this sophomore album. His vocals are still those deep, full of heart tones we know and love, and it is a must if you enjoyed his first album Stay. It will stay in my CD player for many, many weeks to come."
