"Jeremy Davenport's second outing confirms his vocal and instrumental talents and his good taste. It all adds up to a tasty collection you can enjoy over and over again from an artist who doesn't need to sell, as he already has the goods."

"I first listened to Davenport in New Orleans in 1997. At the first opportunity I had I bought his first CD, which I have listened for thousands of times since then. Now this second album only reenforces my impression that Jeremy is a legitimate successor of the great american singers and composer like Gershwin and Porter."

"He is soft and mellow. Great choice of songs for one album. Trumpet goes with his territory. Turn the lights down and have your sweety over for an evening in. Invite his dad in to play the trombone for you."
