"Supposedly recorded in 1972, this album is not one of Jerry Vale's better recordings. Some of the songs are re-recordings that shouldn't have happened. His original 60's recordings of "Too Young", "Smile", "Mona Lisa", and "Pretend" are 1000 times better than these later up-tempo re-recordings. He sounds uninterested as though he can't wait to finish the recordings so he can go home. He even cracks on a couple of the lower notes. The typical Jerry Vale UMPH is non-existant. I recommend this CD ONLY if you're an avid Jerry Vale fan. Otherwise I recommend ALL of his OTHER CDs."
