Unlike Rimes, Andrews isn't out to top the diva list, but to communicate wholesome truths about love ("The Riverside") and loss (Benmont Tench's "Unbreakable Heart"). OK, maybe "Hungry Love" seems too backwoods gothic for a suburban teen, but its message--about the downside of sex too soon--will surely hit home with the middle-school set. Of course, nothing about Heart Shaped World is truly country, despite the faint strains of fiddle and banjo, but the production is never vulgar or over the top à la Faith Hill's Breathe, and the sweet-voiced Andrews brings a surprising maturity and knowing delivery to the material. If the new teens are intent on owning Nashville, let's hope they all do it with this kind of taste and class. --Alanna Nash« less

"Jessica's debut CD is by far extraordinary! She's got one heck of a voice for such a young age. However, I did see the reviewer who compared her to other teen singers like LeAnn and Lila...why is this necessary? Can't people appreciate the talents of all these young artists? There is room for all of them to be stars! Why do people always seem to think there can't be more than one country star who are teenagers? Jessica most definitely is a star -- that's for sure. Her strong and powerful vocal range and emotion are what makes these songs stand out. I think "Unbreakable Heart" is one of the best songs I've ever heard. She does it well as she does all the rest of the songs on this album. Jess - you're truly a beautiful talent with a bright future ahead of you! Keep it up!"

"I am totally amazed by Jessica Andrew's voice! She's so young. I usually don't get into the "teen divas" of country music, but after hearing a couple of the songs off of her album, I knew I had to buy it. I was NOT disappointed. Her voice is absolutely amazing. It's soft, sweet, and clear. My favorite song on the album by far is Unbreakable Heart. I also love James Dean In Tennessee, You Go First, Whatever, and I Will Be There For You. I liked the rest of the songs on the CD, too! Jessica is amazing. I hope she goes far in the country music business. She seems like a very sweet girl who is appreciative of her fans and of the people who got her where she is today. Way to go, Jessica! Buy this album today! You'll love it."
Why's Britney getting all the publicity?

"Britney Spears does have a pretty good voice, but it's nothing compared with the wonderful gift this young woman has been blessed with. Her voice can alternate between sounding husky and mature (for ballads) and playful and trilly (for faster-paced songs). "I Will Be There For You" was one of the few standout tracks on the PRINCE OF EGYPT soundtrack, and she followed that one up with "You Go First" and "Unbreakable Heart." Another track on the album, "Whatever," is delightful pop-country, and perhaps my favorite song on the CD. But no matter how good her songs are, Jessica Andrews is still not getting the attention she deserves!"
THE BEST VOICE I"VE HEARD IN A LONG TIME!

"Her voice is absolutley amazing! She uses so much emotion, and it really draws you into the c.d. For example, if you listen to "Unbreakable Heart," her voice is flawless! It's filled with so much genuine, captivating emotion, which is quite rare for such a young vocalist. Throughout the c.d., her voice tells a great story! She sings with so much confidence. She's an INCREDIBLE talent and should not be over looked! If your going to buy one c.d. this week, or month, defintaley buy this one! You won't regret it!"

"I loved this CD. Jessica is one of the best teen country queens out there. All of her songs are good. I love this cd because I can play it through without pushing the next button. I love all the songs and none of them are bad! It's worth the price!
*****************************************************************1. James Dean in Tennessee- Very catchy.. It was a big hit. I really like the background music and I love the way this song tells a story all its own.2. You Go First- A cute song that alot of teenagers could relate to. Its about wanting to kiss but neither is making the move. It uses phrases like "We're right up the edge but we need a little push.Dancin on the tightrope.. wearin it thin instead of closing our eyes and jumpin in.. Do you wanna kiss?" GREAT SONG!3. The Riverside- One of the top two beautiful ballads on the album. This song alone would be worth buying the cd. This song gives Jessica the chance to let her vocals be the main focus! And man do her vocals shine~ Beautiful song~ Love it!4. Whatever- I love this song. Its about a guy who lies, promisies and does not keep, promisies forever then she gets fed up and says "Whatever!" Its a great girl power song :-) 5. Unbreakable Heart- This is one of my favorites~ Its the other beautiful ballad on the album! It also has a hint of christian music in it. The lyrics are beautiful and this song has so much meaning! I would listen to this song on repeat all day and never get tired of it. You have to hear this song!6. Hungry Love- This song is a story all its own. Its about a little girl with no good role models around her when shes young. Her daddy left her mothers out on the town.. then when she turns 17 she has a baby of her own but does the same thing her mother had done. Its good to listen to!7. Heart Shaped World- This is a good song about living in a world of a love for a person so her world is heart shaped. It has some great lyrics and of course Jessica does the job of expresing them! Shes great and this song shows it!8. I'll Take Your Heart- This song is about a girl stealing a guys heart. She doesn't wanna be the lonely girl so before he knows it shes gonna steal it~9. I Do Now- Beautiful song! Its about believing in miracles. Sometimes it just takes a special someone to realize that miracles do occur and this song shows that~ If you have strong feelings for someone I think this song describes all those feelings~10. I've Been Waiting For You- This song is very catchy. Its about all the things she could do but shes been waiting for this special someone. She couldve gave her love to someone else but shes been waiting! It has a lot of country in this song~11. Ruby Shoes- I love this song. It has comparisions to "The Wizard of Oz". Such as "But my name aint Dorothy These aint ruby shoes. Cant click my heels anytime I choose." Also " That aint a tornado blowing out the door. Thats the sound of him leaving cos he dont love me anymore. I'll just walk the floor but i sure could use some of those ruby shoes" GREAT!12. I Will Be There for You- This is from the movie, "Prince of Egypt"~ It has beautiful lyrics . I love this song~ Its beautiful. I dont know what else to say!*****************************************************************I hope you decide to buy this album! You're missing out if you dont! Take my word.. this album is one of the best!"
