Liquidizer outshines its more mainstream followup Doubt and challenging Perverse. Raw and wonderously underproduced, Mike Edwards and the band seem to just flow better. "Move Mountains" is an absolute kicker. The wah wahs of "What's Going On?" are addictive. Another screamer of a track is "What Would You Know?", gotta love the siren. Catchy samples propel "Info Freako" and the reggae feeling to "Too Much to Learn" makes it a winner. Liquidizer comes in at a clean 4.5 stars, I'll round up for sentimental reasons." |
