"Break out the tinsel and lights.......Christmas has come early. Realizing that it is only September, this cd will definately put you in the mood for wanting to start decorating now and wrapping all of those Christmas presents. Jim Brickman has once again delivered another musical masterpiece. This much anticipated cd is right up there beside the previous Christmas cd "The Gift" It is a cd full of classics, along with some new tunes,{sure to become classics}The cd begins with a beautifully orchestrated version of "We Three Kings" This wonderful cd features a multitude of talented artists. It starts with The Blind Boys of Alabama, who at age 85, can harmonize with the best of them, singing "Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!" Then Anne Cochran {long time friend, classmate & co-star of his tours} joins Tracy Silverman, {also a co-star of his tours} along with his electric violin on the hauntingly beautiful "Do You Hear What I Hear?" as they performed it in their holiday concert last year. Jim then showcases a newcomer to the world of recording music. Her name is Kristy Starling, finalist of the "Today" show Pop Idol contest. She lends her talent to the song "Sending You a Little Christmas" She will be joing Jim and friends on his Holiday Tour this year.If you have the opportunity to catch his Christmas Tour, you should, because you won't be disappointed. Then Colin Raye returns for the holiday cd,{he was previously featured on "The Gift"} singing the title song "Peace" All in all, this is a wonderful cd to put you in that holiday mood, to decorate by, to bake cookies by, or just to sit and reflect on good times, families , memories and what Christmas means to you."
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

"I became a fan of Jim Brickman when he released The Gift. I have enjoyed every single cd he has released.
His newest creation PEACE is his 2nd foray into holiday music. And I will say that he has not lost his touch. His melodies are still so wonderful and soothing.
He beautifully mixes a little vocal arrangement into some of the traditional Christmas songs. Such as LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW (with The Blind Boys of Alabama) and DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR? (with Anne Cochran & Tracy Silverman; this is a very magical version of this classic). Once again Collin Raye performs a song (written by Jim Brickman) called PEACE. Aside from the vocal recordings, Jim beautifies the traditional works into a new masterpiece. Such as HARK! THE HERALD ANGELS SING, AWAY IN A MANGER, O COME, O COME EMMANUEL (sounds like Christmas Eve mass at my church) and O HOLY NIGHT.
I have always loved the original pieces Jim has created. On this cd there is the exquisite and soft EARLY SNOWFALL. PEACE is what I would call Jim's masterpeice and I have fallen in love with his stylings all over again. This is the kind of cd you want to snuggle up with (preferrably a loved one) next to an open fire."
Always Perfect!!!

Do We Really Need a New Jim Brickman Christmas Disc?

"When I first saw that Jim Brickman released a new Christmas album, I sarcastically asked a friend who is a big fan "Do we really need a new Jim Brickman Christmas CD? Will a new Jim Brickman disk change the world? Will it bring about true peace and harmony? Will anyone but his biggest promoter Delilah (the nationally syndicated radio disc jockey) really care?" I just got a glare, but in the true spirit of the holiday, listening to the disc did somewhat melt my Scrooge like opinion. This is a very nice Christmas album. It is mellow enough to relieve stress after the hectic moments of the holiday or perfect background music for Christmas dinner and entertaining. Most of the disc has traditional Christmas favorites arranged similar in style to other Brickman arrangements. It also has some original pieces: Sending You A Little Christmas, Blessings, and the bonus track which is also the title track of the album, Peace. Like all Brickman albums, the performance is heartfelt and the guests add a nice touch.Keep in mind, if I ask the question "Do We Really Need Another Jim Brickman Christmas Disc?" it assumes the first Christmas disc THE GIFT is already a good enough collection, and THE GIFT is a collection that I do enjoy.Happy Holidays!!!"
Expected the best...got the best.

"Once again, Jim Brickman has given us an album that will soon become a staple for Holiday Music. He has captured the nostalgic holiday spirit that lives in all of us, but because of the hustle of life, doesn't always come out. While listening to this CD, I was reminded of my childhood and warmed by the cozy thoughts of a dark room with only the Christmas light glow from the tree and crackle of the fire...while outside it was snowing and cold. You won't be disappointed with this purchase! Some tracks have guest vocals and each song evokes a feeling that will take you to the core of Holiday Spirit. I hope you enjoy this as much as we are...Happy Holidays!"
