"Mean Well is the kind of CD that can be listened to over and over again in all kinds of moods, and can satisfy the listener every time. The five young men that make up Jimmy's Comet are blessed with the rare combination of raw musical talent and artistic pizzaz that makes for unforgettable music. The songs are gentile, rhythmic, and emotional, letting each of the musicians showcase the depth and quality of their craft. Lyrically, the songs are both deep and poetic as well as playful, never vulgar, sappy, or dumb. This band is as classy as it is hip. Their artistic rendering of rock&roll has a sound all it's own, but for comparison's sake, fans of Wilco, The Beatles, and Dave Matthews Band will find another fave in Jimmy's Commet."
