"This is a standard Jimmy Buffet album, not much special. Some of the songs I enjoyed very much, like Captain America, while others didn't do much for me, such as Ain't He A Genius? I wouldn't recommend unless you are a true Parrothead."

"This is all old Nashville era stuff. Jimmy hadn't found himself and was struggling to be what Nashville wanted. If you want to get an idea of what that struggle sounded like, buy this album. If you are a big fan of Volcano and Son of a Sailor era Buffett, take a pass."

"For those initially turned off by this album, I suggest reading Jimmy Buffett's autobiography, titled, A Pirate Looks at Fifty. Many of the stories in the book put a timeframe around this album. Buffett hasn't always written caribbean rock and roll music!"
