CD ReviewsPLEASE reissue this one! P. Mitchell | Calif. USA | 09/03/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "If you love, like or even stood next to swing music you really should know Jimmy Lunceford's music. He might not have possesed the range of Duke Ellington or Count Basie, but the man knew rythym! If I had to compare him to anyone my first response would be Cab Calloway and that ain't half bad! This album was my first introduction to Jimmy and I still smile when I think of the tunes. There's one song on this album that I can't seem to find anywhere else. It's called "Running a temperture" and man, it's lyrically clever, it's musically complex and it's just a joy to listen to. PLEASE, reisse this CD!"
