"I waited for this release for years and as soon as it was released I grabbed it. This is a cornerstone of my collection. You can't go wrong with this. I just can't believe it is already out of print. If you can find it, get it."
The absolute best of Jimmy Wakely

"This really is a magnificent collection of classic Capitol recordings from Jimmy Wakely, one of the top-tier cowboy singers and a crooner of considerable skill and charm. Wakely had TV and radio gigs well into the 1950s and '60s, and released numerous souvenir albums on his own, independent Shasta label, but these 1940s major label recordings really are his best work. Includes several fine duets with pop vocalist Margaret Whiting and Wakely's biggest hits, such as "One Has My Name (And The Other My Heart)" It's great stuff... highly recommended!
