Great singer, poor quality sound

"Great song choices by a wonderful singer make this cd a good addition to anyone's collection. The only problem with it, other than no liner notes, and no dates of recordings, was the sound quality. There was a lot of scratchy sound for a Jo Stafford cd. Usually the sound quality is better on the compilations that I have. I have never heard of the company putting this cd out, so maybe they don't do a lot. The songs were a good choice and not found on a lot of other compilations and I liked that. If you don't mind the slight scratchiness, then this is a really great cd to have in your oldies collection."
