One of her best works with an 11 song bonus

""Ring Them Bells" is one of Baez's most beautiful recordings. You have "Sweet Sir Galahad" from Woodstock times. Plus, there are lovely covers of "Jesse", "The Lily of the West," and "The Band Played Waltzing Matilda" among the original ten. The music's thoughtful and compelling and Baez's voice at its very best.
For a while there, this CD was hard to find. Amazon didn't always carry it. I was lucky to grab my copy as an import.
But, for folks who waited, you now get the 11-song bonus disk featuring some never-before released live recordings. If you have never heard a live version of "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" you are so in for a treat. In addition, you have "You're Aging Well" which if it wasn't written for Baez, is now certainly her anthem.
Worth it if you are a Baez fanatic like me. She's still one of the greatest voices in any genre of music and these are among her most thoughtful songs.

Joan Baez, still amazing

"This album has many great older recordings, but all seem fresh. Having just seen Joan Baez in concert, I especially like having these songs."
