A feast for the ears

"Even though this album came out in '91, I was never exposed to it until '96. Upon listening for the first time, I thought that it was ok...but not what I needed to stay awake for my graveyard shift. A couple of days later I listened again, when I could relax and take it all in, and was transfixed by this beautiful woman's voice taking me away to a smoke-filled jazz lounge. I could almost picture her sprawled over a piano, delivering these delicious jazz melodies.

Since then, whenever I feel like relaxing, I will have a couple of cocktails, put this disk into the cd player, and be swept away once again. I never grow tired of this one."
