CD Reviews

The music pleases parents as well as kids.

"The music on this album is a wonderful tribute to the imagination and creativity of kids. We all know that kids look at the world differently than we do and Joe Scruggs puts their point of view to music. "Rapunzel Got A Mohawk" is a wonderfully wacky song that puts a new spin on old fairy tales. The song "Not Fair" shows that Joe really understands where kids are coming from as the theme of this song is if I'm not getting my way then it's just not fair (that's a familiar phrase around my house). Joe also appeals to a childs wacky and irreverent sense of humor with the song "Big Underwear"....he makes dancing in big underwear sound so much fun I'd like to by my own pair. This album is a must for children in the early elementary grades. Parents will enjoy it too."
Great Songs for Kids and Adults!

"I second all of the comments of the first reviewer. I'm so impressed by the quality of the songs and how my kids respond so positively to them that I decided to buy more Joe Scruggs CDs. They are well worth it!"
Joe Scruggs is a favorite in our house!

"I first heard of Joe Scruggs because one of his songs was on a cassette we received as a gift for my son's 2nd' birthday. We loved it instantly, and I was delighted to come across one of his tapes (Ants) at a garage sale for a dime. It was an instant favorite in our house, and we've been collecting the rest of his music since then. My 2 older kids are big fans (they are 2 and 4) and I find myself singing along as well. The lyrics are funny enough to put adults into stitches, and catchy tunes get the kids singing along as well. I even get teary-eyed when I listen to Can't Rock the Baby. I highly recommend this music, as well as anything else from Joe Scruggs that you can get your hands on."
