DescriptionJoey and the boys are out of Ft. Worth TX. They were nominated for Fort Worth Country act of the year in the Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards. They have been on the scene for 3 years now and have made quite a name for themselves. The band prides themselves on their diversity. They have shared the stage with many well known acts and have gotten nothing but a good response. Their influences are diverse as the band. Influences are: Merle Haggard, Rolling Stones, Waylon, old 97's, Son Volt, Ryan Adams, Counting Crows, Wallflowers, Credence Clearwater Revival and everything in between. The originator of the band is Joey Green, he is the song writer, lead guitarist, sound man, lead singer and helps compose this sound. His guitar playing talent has exploded with in the last year. Some people call him Slash from Gun?s and Roses when he lights up his guitar. He has a gift of being a showman on the stage. The second original member of the show is the drummer Brian Smith , this young man is one of the best drummers of all times. Brian also played with a band called The Texas Ride and he is also a songwriter. He wrote two songs with his original band. The third original member of the band is a very good rhythm guitarist Noah Garcia from Crowley Texas. Noah also plays some lead and sings backup vocals and he has also helped Joey write one of the best songs that this band plays. The fourth original member of the band is the bass player John Dotson. He has been with the band somewhere around a year.
