CD Reviews
Woah! Can this be -the- Joey McIntyre?

"Woah! I'm totally amazed by this CD. I own Stay the Same. I like it. I listen to it occasionally, but mostly as a nostalgic trip back to my pre-teen years, when I idolized the NKOTB. I happened to hear some good things about 8:09 - so I went to B&N, listened there, and was really, really surprised. This is a stand-alone, breakthrough CD. If there were any doubts before, this CD proves that Joey McIntyre can do it on his own, irregardless of his past. And this is Joey McIntyre at his best, too."
8:09 Flips My Flops and Rocks My Socks!

"After seeing Joey McIntyre as Fiyero in the Broadway musical "Wicked," I was swept away by his talent! I bought 8:09 expecting it to be like every CD I have bought; Some good songs and some bad songs. This CD was completely different! I love each and every one of the songs! My favorites have to be "Someday" and "Endlessly." Both are beautifully written and performed by Joey with help from Eman. I would recommend this CD to everybody because it will completely blow you away. Joey has all of the talent thats missing from some performers today."
Joey's "8:09" is Awesome!!!

"All I can say is that Joey McIntyre's new album, "8:09" is awesome! That's the only word I can come up with. It is the best CD (or close to it) Joey has made so far. "Stay the Same," "Meet Joe Mac," and "One Too Many: Live From NY" were all amazing, but this CD seems different in a way. It seems more personal. You really get the feeling that Joey wants to tell his story of his life to all of his fans, and I think that is so special that he would want to do that for us, for his Bravehearts that have stood by him since New Kids on the Block. I feel honored to be a Braveheart and to be listening to such a well written and well thought out album! This CD has different sounds for everyone. There are many ballads and many up beat songs such as "California," "Dance Like That," and "This is Different!" Any listener could not turn this CD off! I have been listenig to it almost 24/7 since its release on April 27, 2004! An example of the ballads are: "Love Me That Way," "Supergirl," "Someday," and "Endlessly." Joey's first single, "L.A. Blue," is an amazing song also. It will make you cry it is so good. These songs are very emotional and you can tell from Joey's voice and the lyrics that he wrote that it comes from the heart. You can tell he really means what he is saying, and that he has really put his heart and soul into this record. Please buy it and hear it for yourself. You won't regret it, I promise! It rocks! Listening to this CD will give you chills it is so good! It's amazing! It won't leave your stereo. I promise that, too. I definitely recommend Joey's new album, "8:09." It's worth the money and is the best item a person could add to their collection of Joey McIntyre memories."

"This album by Joe shows how much he has matured and progressed as a solo artist since his first album. In my mind Joe has gone from strength to strength, to be honest, bar 2 songs I didn't like his first album Stay the Same, and its only by accident I heard his second album Meet Joe Mac. However on the strength of Meet Joe Mac and One to Many I purchased 8:09 and was blown away. I absoululy love the dance track Dance Like That, I can imagine the sexy video clip as I sing along. The second dance track This Is Different is also fantastic, (is it just me or are there many refrences to Brittany Spears in this song). I loved California (maybe because I was in California when I brought this album)and its the first song I learnt word for word, I drove around California belting out this song whilst drumming away on the steering wheel. These three dance tracks are the stand out tracks.
Although its over-shadowed by the dance tracks LA Blue stands by itself, not a dance song, not a ballad, but a fantastic mixed tempo song.
Of the ballads I loved Endlessly whilst Supergirl, Love Me That Way and Someday are enjoyable and easy to listen to.
The only song I had to learn to enjoy was Falling, this was because I loved this song on the live album with Eman, and you know how people feel when they mess with songs you already know.
8:09 is a complete package of dance, funk, and ballads which will only add class to your CD collection.
I love this album and have no hesition in recommending this album to my friends. If you have never brought a Joe Mac CD buy 8:09, it is Joe's best album by far and the only review I have ever been inspired to write."
