"Many country songs share the 2/4 beat of the polka. This is a great mix of the two. Wish Joey had more than 3 CD's available!"
Great Combination of Styles!

"When you combine Joey Miskulin's Nashville roots and his long association with polka great Frankie Yankovic, you get this, a great CD. The most countrified tracks are Down at the Twist and Shout, Jambalaya/Arcadian Stomp (isn't that also called By the Bayou?), Chattahoochee, and The Wabash Cannonball. Also present are some more traditional polkas such as Pennsylvania Polka and Clarinet Polka, along with a number frequently heard as a march, Under the Double Eagle. There's some fine listening here. Those of us who mourn the recent passing of Frankie Yankovic can take some comfort in the hope that Joey will step in to fill the void. The performances are top-notch and the recording quality is superb. You won't want to miss this one!"
