CD ReviewsGood music, fair mixing Craig Hawkins | Denver, CO | 09/04/2001 (3 out of 5 stars) "I've rather enjoyed previous Acquaviva CDs, such as the Cream CD.99 mix. I've also seen him perform on several occasions had he really rocked the crowd. I was excited to walk by this CD at the local store yesterday. I immediately picked it up.Giving it a good listen to, I must say that it has some pretty decent tracks, but nothing that really makes too excited. I am disappointed in the mixing quality. I found a lot of it to be rather sloppy and in some cases, noticeably off (from track 11 to track 12). Being a DJ myself, sloppiness like this really sticks out to me. While it's nice to know that this CD wasn't mixed with a computer like some CD compilations, I think Mr. Acquaviva could have done a better job with the mixing. Otherwise, the CD has some good moments that make it a good buy for any fan of Acquaviva. Don't expect anything mind blowing here, however."
