A Great Recording!

"After reading a wonderful book about the Beethoven Symphonies by this pianist, I decided to see what else he had written. To my surprise I found he had made this CD too. He is a fantastic pianist in every way, has a gorgeous rich tone and unbelievable technique. The Scriabin selections are phenomenal -- and it seems he is an expert on this music. I especially liked his transcription of one of my favorite pieces --Mahler's Adagietto and also a piece I didn't know, Michel Block's Un Beau Jour. This really is one wonderful recording. It seems all the major critics agree, if you look up the reviews on line. Every one of them is an unqualified rave, and with good reason."
