Very entertaing cd with a lot of variety.

"I went and bought the soundtrack as soon as I saw this movie and even though that was something like three years ago, the cd still hasn't lost its luster. I'm not really big on soundtracks but there's a lot to love here and LOTS of variety. The opening "Teaser" sets the mood for a good time and from there the cd ranges from fun and rollicking barroom music, to the more synth-oriented, score stuff. There's some moody pedal steel here and there and "Santiago" is a standout as one of my favorites. It's very atmospheric and did a lot for that scene in the movie. If you haven't seen the movie, you may want to check into that before you buy the album, although I'm sure that this would sound good even if you haven't seen it."

Good soundtrack but was missing some tunes

"This was an over all good soundtrack mixing eerie tunes with guitar. But the following music is missing: The music used in the beginning when you see all the Nesferatu gettin fried as there yanked out of the farmhouse and the threatening notes being played (perhaps by a synthesizer) after Montoya is bitten by Katrina and you see him get out of the car and fire his gun and put it to his neck to stop the bleeding. I thing those tunes were replaced with similar ones which were pretty good, but to me its just not the same. If anyone can tell me any information, please tell me. Overall it was still a good soundtrack. Great for vampire hunters everywhere. For even cooler music, sink your teath into the blade soundtracks."
