A Li'l Slice of Soviet Russia

"Gonna be honest: As with the first score, I only really purchased the Iron Man 2 score for a single track. In the case of this score, it's the first track: Ivan's Metamorphosis (the first Iron Man's primary track that got me was "Driving With the Top Down"). Metamorphosis is a beautifully industrial track that absolutely drips Soviet overtones (from about 3:29 onward). It sets the theme for the entire score, and I've gotta say that even though Ramin Djawadi did a great job with the first film's score, John Debney is no slouch, and definitely doesn't disappoint in his latest masterpiece.
Only thing I can really say about this is the following: Don't confuse this musical SCORE with the AC/DC-centric SOUNDTRACK. As with the score for Transformers by Steve Jablonski, they're most definitely two entirely different animals."
Hmmmmm.

"I love Ramin Djawadi's after hearing the Clash of the Titans score...But before then I honestly didn't care for his work especially the first Iron Man....But this score recovered what I believe was taken away from Ramin (being supervised and what not in the makin and writing of the first Iron Man) and brought forth...Nice score and I've always loved Debney."
