WONDERFUL WORK BY JOHN DOAN

"I've been a fan of John's music for years, and highly recommend this CD. His music takes you on a journey through ancient ages and fantastic realms of the imagination. His skill with the rare 20-stringed harp-guitar is quite evident. One of my favorite tracks on this CD is "Farewell", a peaceful and reflective piece. The warmth and richness of these compositions will soothe and inspire those who choose to listen!"

Of all the celtic music I own, this is my favorite!

"This CD is hauntingly beautiful, and not in the typical "celtic" or "new age" way. It combines the best of both worlds with a heavy dash of originality. I like celtic and new age music because I can do other things at the same time, but John Doan's music can be mellow and unobtrusive, or you can concentrate just on the intricacies of the music and not get bored. John Doan is absolutely wonderful, and of his works, I consider this the best of the best."

'Where Horses of Fairy Hide', 'Farewell' and 'The Old Church of Kilronan' are especially enthralling. A must buy for anyone who enjoys Celtic or New Age music."
