Features original album plus a bonus dvd; the never before released 'whispering jack live' from 1987. Also features a documentary; 'the making of whispering jack'. Originally released in 1986, the album entered the aria chart at no.1 and stayed there for 25 weeks. The first single 'you're the voice' went to no.1 and stayed there for 7 weeks. 'whispering jack' went on to sell in excess of 1.7 million units in australia. It received 5 aria awards at the inaugural arias including best australian male artist, best australian album, highest selling single (youre the voice), highest selling album and best australian adult contemporary record. 'whispering jack' enjoyed success in germany, sweden, canada, denmark, holland and the uk.

"This CD was the 1st Platinum selling CD in Australian music history... and no wonder, its excellent from beginning to end. From what I understand John started his music career in Australia as a teen pop star, and as most teen stars do, they fade away... then a brief run as the singer for Little River Band, John/The Voice hit the charts of Australia with Whispering Jack in 1986 and hasn't stopped yet... he has had an amazing career since then, selling millions of LP/CD's. Whispering Jack is where his 2nd start began... This 20th Anniversary Edition has been remastered and sounds wonderful... In Australia he is known as The Voice, buy this CD and see why, he is amazing....."
